…Extraordinary Boss

It seems these days are getting worse when it comes to reality because of this Covid-19 crap. It’s depressing, so I’m really grateful to have found myself a new show to look forward to indulge in. Binge on. Get caught up in. Daydream & sing along.🎶

And so, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist: S1 E3: Zoey’s Extraordinary Boss. Joan (Lauren Graham) plays Zoey’s boss & not to mention, is one fantastic singer too. This episode is about Joan and her marriage & if Zoey wants to get involved with her boss, when she hears Joan sing a “heart song” of “Satisfaction.” Which eventually she does get involved & is very much concerned about Joan. However, going from “Satisfaction” to “Roar” was wonderful. Very pleasing to watch Joan overcome her fear of her over powered husband & show off her own woman power.

But another thing that I really enjoyed and got me all teary eyed, was when Zoey and David talked to their mom, that intervention moment, and Zoey says to her mom, “There is nothing in the world that I love more than your smile. But not if it’s not real.” That was a truth told to help her mom find her real smile again & take off some steam from caring for her husband too. David & Zoey tries to help their mom. However, in the side line of Zoey’s inner musical power, she creates a program to help her dad spell out what is on his mind. Well, it’s basically a big computer. But the way they show it, it looks more of in the age & easier for her dad to manage what he’s been thinking.

Seriously. Well done on the writers getting together some serious emotions that get the audience (especially me, for instance) and so emotionally wrapped up & inspired. I’ve gotten motivated to review my feelings after watching this show. Be inspired 2 inspire.
