… Extraordinary Confession

Alright, once again, Zoey’s Playlist is really extraordinary. Ha! But S1 E7, Confession time. First off, when I first see Zoey and Max on her couch having a movie night, all I can say is “it’s inevitable.”

And then, oh.. and then, Max confesses his love in a mob song at the food court mall & Zoey thinks it’s just one of his “heart songs” but.. it’s real! He is really singing out his heart with the mob dancers singing “Everything means nothing if I can’t have you” by Shawn Mendes. And Zoey gets so surprised when she finds out it’s for real 😳 & first reaction is to storm out and run away.

Then that’s when she confesses her “music inner thoughts power” to Max. He don’t believe her but she tries all day to convince him which only leads to more hurtful moments for Max. Because when Max finds out from Zoey that he sang love songs to her, what did Zoey do? She set him up with Autumn to push Max away from having any feeling towards her & Zoey can focus on work amongst other things (so she tells Max). It’s hurtful to Max at first, but when he gets stuck with Simon in the elevator and Simon comments to Max, “You guys ever a thing?” And Max replies that they are tight & not sure why Simon is keeping tabs, but.. oh man, when Simon says that Zoey is special and deserves a good guy.. I’m glad that Max says to Simon out loud that “she will be… some day.” 🥰 Another “max”imum heartfelt moment.

Oh shoot, I almost forgot to mention… since after Simons engagement party, Joan and Leif came up with a new tech called ‘The Chirp’! And since working on that, Leif is working his way into Joan and singing “I put a Spell on you” to Joan. And after that, at the very end of the day, right before Zoey goes home, she sees Joan & Leif kiss. Perhaps, another drama to get caught up in for Zoey.
